The bye week must have done us good since we’re still rollin now 4-0

Notable Events:

A couple of double plays from Trav early thanks to the other teams stellar base running

Chas learned how to stop the ball with his forehead and has the gash to prove it

Brent & Cody had a sweet turn at 2nd, even if we didn’t get the double play it looked good

Trav hit a bomb and took one deep out through center field…. “Get some Friesz!”

Dennis and Travis are now confirmed relatives, united through the magic of Softball

Notable happenings from game night:

Chas decided to rollerblade all the way to the diamonds from his house.

Marlo can umpire softball games like a champ.

Travs blue socks were weak compared our orange socks.

Bubba was throwin some nasty stuff and stackinup the strikeouts.

Chas can’t field with shades on but Kyle can field with Chas nearly running him over.

Nate and Brent surprised us with a grill out during our tailgate session.

Wolsky is a pro at walking into Captain Jacks twice to get beer.

Our top fans so far this year are Jess and Tyler.

Jimmy, Cody and Tyler were representing in the Florida Gater Gear

We look pretty dang good in Blue and Orange.

Also if you want your own players page write me or leave a comment, I’m starting off doing it by request, you don’t have to have played on one of my teams to have your own player page but you will have to help me if I don’t have any pictures or video of you.

I was taking footage for highlight reels when I came across our last game of 2007. I was laughing so hard when I watched it I decided I should make a video. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this game I have short setup written below.

So it was the last game of the season and we were playing the last place team in our league, they also hadn’t won a game yet. So being a little overconfident we did some strange things. Basically we took our typical batting order and reversed it, had our outfield play extra shallow, had one of our outfielders pitch a few of the last innings. And then played foolish, it wasn’t until the last inning that we realized how close they were to us and when we really needed outs we started missing everything. We ended up winning by a run or so but it was good times.
